Our History
County Judge Hoppy Haden and County Grant Writer Dennis Engelke were very aware of the need for more resources to address the needs of Caldwell County residents. Then the COVID-19 pandemic severely impacted Caldwell County nonprofits, many of which struggled to access the funding desperately needed to serve their communities. In response, they formed a nonprofit. Board members were appointed, and The Caldwell County Community Services Foundation (CCCSF) was established in December 2019 by Caldwell County Commissioners Court Resolution 05-2020.
